My top 5 study tips
1Use Mnemonics - To remember complex topics or steps I try to have a funny Mnemonic that’s unforgettable and easy to recall.
2Having a study buddy and teaching concepts to others helps simplify hard topics and also solidify what you know and what might need more attention
3Look at keywords/questions and recite everything you know about the topic first to practice active recall and also find where your gaps lie. This beats passive reading where you don’t actually absorb much!
4Spaced repetition of topics helps you become more thorough and confident. I find that if I study one topic and don’t look at it again before an exam I can only remember things vaguely so ai try to revise the same topic every few days. This also applies to remembering quotes or key phases for essays!
5Have small achievable goals and to-do lists everyday to break down big tasks into smaller, manageable ones. And implement breaks and rewards between study sessions such as watching half of an episode in between or grabbing a snack :)
