Meet our Talent 100 Student: Sakhi
While you’re usually used to our staff and mentor blogs, we’ve decided to flip the switch so you can find out more about the students who actually study at Talent 100.
We can share their unique personalities and passions both in and outside of our classrooms.
This week we’ve been chatting to Sakhi who is currently in Year 12 and studies at our Epping Learning Centre.

What’s the best part about studying at Talent 100?
It’s a fun environment with great mentors and students.
Have you tried our holiday programs? If so, how did they benefit your learning?
I have tried the Biology Fast Forward Holiday Program, if you have a busy term coming up then the holiday programs can help you cover all the content in a few days. Of course, revising content and attempting the homework papers throughout the term will be more beneficial since the holiday classes will only go over the notes.

Can you share your number one study tip?
I would highly, highly recommend making summary notes after every Talent class and before the next class. Summary notes should ideally follow the syllabus and include formulas, examples and any important points.
These notes should be combined with your school notes to make your STUDY BIBLE FOR THE HSC! It will surely help you revise your content and have notes to look over before sitting your Trials or HSC.
Another tip is to DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Even if it seems tedious and repetitive, it really does make a difference in your results.
What piece of advice would you give to other students?
Be social and make friends, whether at school or Talent 100, because studying and doing classwork is a lot more fun and exciting with friends.
What are your career aspirations after completing high school?
I want to be a doctor, specifically an OB/GYN.
If you could describe Talent in one word, what would it be?
Helpful: My HSC journey was more smooth-sailing since I was able to develop a stronger foundation through taking classes in both Yr. 11 and Yr. 12 as well as having mentors that supported and gave me great advice.
