My top 5 study tips
Make sure to be kind to yourself, set realistic goals and take breaks when you need to in order to avoid burn-out. Taking a walk outside is personally my favourite way to give my brain a rest.
Minimise distractions in your workspace as much as possible - keep your phone in a separate location, mute notifications or download a blocking app such as Forest to keep you focused.
Make a daily or weekly plan of what work you have to do, and when you need to have it done by. Planning out your days and getting work done in allocated chunks makes studying seem much more manageable.
Exam preparation is a long process - last minute studying means you won't properly retain information, and leaves you at risk of not completing your work on time. You should be making notes consistently throughout the year for each of your subjects.
Always run your own race, and avoid falling into the trap of comparing yourself to others. The only person who you should focus on out-performing is yourself.
