My top 5 study tips
Verbal recall - reciting something to yourself can help with memorising quotes/concepts/content and is a good way to test yourself on topics.
Teaching and explaining - teaching a peer/friend helps you understand a topic deeply, especially if you need to think of a multitude of ways to explain one concept.
Practice - applying content to different questions and actually writing responses helps with memorisation and also understanding
Organising and logging in quotes as you go helps save time. A lot of kids rush at the end of term to find all their quotes at once for an exam, if you write down new ones every week into a google doc, you can go through it when it's time for an exam and pick the ones you like.
Read different exemplar responses. You have the benefit of having access to a multitude of Band 6 responses, look at how other people write and what they write about. Take quotes, ideas and other things you see working and copy them (excluding anything that would count as plagiarism).
