My top 5 study tips
Set aside time for yourself and your friends or family every day, even if you think you are busy
Start HSC and trial past papers as soon as you finish learning most of the content (in tutoring or school)
Where possible, try to get your teachers (or tutors/mentors) to give feedback on homework or tasks as much as possible. Go over any mistakes, resubmit, and repeat until you get the full green light from them.
Never neglect the fundamentals. While it's good to prioritise challenging questions over basic ones during crunch time, always warm up with the 'easy questions' when possible in order to solidify and maintain a stable foundation.
If you're struggling and failing to understand new concepts in a subject, it's because your fundamentals are not strong. Going back to the basics to fill in any gaps in understanding can sometimes hurt your pride, or seem like a waste of time, but it will always be worth it.
