How would you describe the learning environment at Talent 100 and what would you consider the best part?
The learning environment always felt safe and comforting as the staff was extremely friendly and understanding, they definitely were the best part.
What were you aiming to achieve by attending Talent 100 and how did we help you achieve that?
I needed help with my essay writing skills in English, and I am much better at writing essays thanks to our classes and my tutors feedbacks.
How did you find the resources?
It was really helpful especially during exam periods because I had all the content in one book. I made sure to read sections once in a while and go through the whole thing before trials. It definitely had a great impact.
Have you used the 1-1 tutorials and if so how have they been beneficial?
Yes, I have usually used them before my assessment weeks, and it has been very beneficial because we focused on specific areas I needed help with.
Have you tried our holiday programs? If so, how did they benefit your learning?
No.
How has your mentor’s teaching style helped you with your studying? (Why did their teaching style work for you?)
She had an extremely positive and understanding attitude towards me which allowed me to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions while learning.
I benefited a lot from a younger mentor as it was so much easier to connect with her because she has done the HSC a few years ago and can relate to our struggles and give realistic and helpful advice.
Can you share your number one study tip?
My number one study tip would be consistency, there will be days where you will be extremely productive and days where you won’t but it’s important to push yourself on those days and do something easy, until you feel productive again.
What are your career aspirations after completing high school?
I would like to study architecture at university and become an architect one day.
If I could describe Talent-100 in one word, it would be:
