I believe that students at Talent 100 are given a valuable opportunity to discover their true potential in English, and I enjoy helping young people realise where their strengths in the subject may lie. By coming to tutoring students can refine their approach to the subject, and I hope to instill in every individual a genuine appreciation for the study of literature, as the skills they acquire throughout their English studies will last a lifetime.
A graduate of Danebank School for Girls, Renee has recently completed her Master of Teaching (Secondary Education) at the University of Technology Sydney. Her passion for English is supported by her excellent academic track record, receiving the Prize for English Extension 1 in her final year of schooling, and also managing to top French Continuers at her school.
Renee's study tips for HSC success? She believes that it's very important for students to become familiar with a range of English texts to develop their skills, recommending that they "read widely and often." Renee also instructs her pupils to "become familiar with a wide variety of text types in order to improve your analytical skills".
