I love working for Talent 100 because of the level of professionalism I have encountered. Every Mentor and Tutor is well versed in their field and genuinely passionate about education, and this makes the environment very supportive and interesting. I also enjoy the interaction with students; Being able to pass on my knowledge of the HSC to future generations, allowing them to better succeed in their exams, is something I find rewarding, and getting to know each student as an individual is incredibly fulfilling
A graduate of the Sydney Grammar School, Gareth is currently studying a Doctor of Medicine / Bachelor of Advanced Science at the University of Sydney. At school he was received the Wigram Allen Award for Physics, the Alastair Mackerras Scholarship, the French Extension and Geoffrey McLaughlin Memorial Prizes for French, placing 5th in the state for French Continuers and also competed in the Head of the River as a rower. Don't mess with Gareth though, because he once accidentally broke his father's nose!
He believes that maximising your ATAR is only worthwhile if you really understand what you want to do in life. Through Mentoring at Talent 100 he helps students discover their passions and guide them through the HSC to help fulfil them. His secret to HSC success is that if you take care of the small things, the big things fall into place.
